The fifth edition of Popular Food Festival is coming soon, Barcelona Degusta will be held from 24 to 27 September in Fira Barcelona’s Campus Montjouïc-Hall 1, and will be held in conjunction with the Feria Internacional de Pastelería Creativa (International Pastry Chef), BCN & Cake.
Catalenes premier chefs taught master classes in cooking and conferences Showcooking Taste the Taste Chamber. As Joan Roca will bring their tapas and most cosmopolitan snacks; Carles Gaig that will teach us his pasta specialty; Carme Ruscalleda who will talk about how to combine sweet and savory; or Nandu Jubany that will show a complex of rice, among others.
The main topics in between these two areas will be: Cooking with stars, Innovative sweet, Secrets of Japanese cuisine, The perfect match: wine and cheese, Oriental Cuisine, Creative and chocolate pastry, Slow food, Iberian ham and cheese with DO, Sharing vemouth with celebrities and Food Waste: Leveraging food.
There will also be scheduled outdoors activities in the Plaça Univers fairgrounds, picnic area, an urban garden and all this enlivened with concerts. 20 Food Trucks, of which I already talked in a previous post, will be installed to show the latest trends in urban and street food. And for those who always look for something more innovative, «Dinners in the sky», and what is this about? So that various groups will have the opportunity to climb 50 meters high to enjoy a meal «from another point of view.»
