Recipe: Asparagus wrapped in serrano ham

As a starter, tapa or appetizer, we now present you a sleek, fast and easy to prepare dish. A perfect way for ‘timeless’ to start the lunch in a healthy, nutritious and tasty way. Ingredients: – ½ kg of asparagus – 100 gr. serrano ham – Olive oil – Salt and pepper We clean the asparagus and scald them in hot water for about 2-3 minutes, with a pinch of salt. Drain and wrap them in sliced serrano ham. Depending on the size, wrap the ham slices in two or three asparagus or even one if it’s very large. On a grill, put the wrapped asparagus, with a dash of olive oil, salt and pepper. And we give a few laps until the ham starts to drop fat. Remove and serve. Alternatively, we can put the studs directly on the grill, until they are a bit soft, instead of scalding. The asparagus is grown naturally and reaches its best between mid-March and April. It is an ideal food to include in low calorie diets because they are high in nutrients and water. If you already did finish your last slices of ham and what is missing is the bone that will go directly into the trash, we propose you an alternative which will have as result a delicious broth in a few easy steps. Ingredients: 1  Ham Bone 2L Water approx. 2 carrots 1 onion 1 leek (white part) 1 sprig of parsley 1 dash of olive oil The first step it to cut the bone of the ham.
